Quaid-e-Azam bust unveiled at British Museum

London: The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan on Tuesday night unveiled Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s bust at the historic British Museum before it moves to its permanent home in Lincoln’s Inn.

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan during the ceremony of unveiling the Jinnah’s bust, said that he is proud to unveil the bronze bust of the great Muhammad Ali Jinnah to honour him. Later he shared his message on twitter.

Syed Ibne Abbas- the High Commissioner for Pakistan to the United Kingdom was also present on the occasion. He also paid tribute to the great leader, saying that Quaid-e-Azam’s struggle brought a reward in the shape of Pakistan.

In his youth, Jinnah had travelled to London in order to pursue studies in law at Lincoln’s Inn from 1892 – 1896. His presence in February 1895 is confirmed by the British Museum in a register for the readers.
