Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Commodore Nawaf Saeed Ahmad Almalki called on President Mamnoon Hussain at Aiwan-e-Sadr, on Monday.

Pak-Saudi relations are an example for the world: President Mamnoon Hussain

Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain said that the sincere relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are an example for the world, the president expressed this while meeting with ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Maliki at the Aiwan e Sadr on Monday. some high officials were also present on the occasion. President Mamnoon Hussain said Pakistan values its relations with Saudi Arab and both the countries always supported each other at difficult times.

President said Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were closely connected with each other on the basis of strong bonds of faith, history and culture. He said both brotherly countries enjoyed steadfast ties among various sectors of life and stressed upon further cementing of these relations in this regard.

Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malkiy visited Naval Headquarters Islamabad today and called on Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi. During the meeting, professional matters of mutual interest came under discussion. The Naval Chief also highlighted Pakistan’s commitment and performance in fight against terrorism including participation of Pakistan Navy in Coalition Maritime Campaign Plan (CMCP) and Counter Piracy Operations in collaboration with international maritime partners.

Ambassador lauded Pakistan Navy’s role and focused commitment in support of maritime security for peace and stability in the region.
