Javaid Mir urges Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International to press India

Srinagar: JKLF (H) Chairman Javaid Ahmad Mir appealed the Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International to press India to end the use of inhuman weapons like Pellet Gun to kill the unarmed civilian protester of Jammu and Kashmir. Javaid Malik urged the human rights organizations to stress upon India to end the brutal tactics on the people of Kashmir, adding, despite repeated calls by many human rights groups and the civil society, it is ironical that police is still using Pellet Gun in the Valley against peaceful protesters.

Meanwhile a high level delegation comprising of JKLF (H) Chairman Javaid Ahmad Mir, DPM leader Yaar Muhammad Khan and Feroz Sarfaz today visited the SMHS Hospital Srinagar to enquire about the well being of several pellet victims admitted there. The delegation on the occasion interacted with the pellet victims who lost their vision after forces used deadly pellet fires to disperse the protestors held nook and corner of the Valley during last four months.

Javaid Ahmad Mir on the occasion appealed Hurriyat leadership not to leave the pellet victims deserted. He said we can’t leave them on the Government’s mercy, adding, responsibility lies upon the Kashmir nation to look after the pellet victims who presented their vision for our better political future. He said the need of the hour is to provide our moral and financial support to the pellet victims until they get contented.

Javaid Ahmad Mir appealed the voices of humanity including Human Rights Watch, UNHRC, NHRC, Amnesty International and other human rights organizations to stress upon India to end the use of Pellet Gun like brutal tactics on the people of Kashmir, adding, despite repeated calls by many human rights groups and the civil society, it is ironical that police is still using Pellet Gun in the Valley against peaceful protesters.
