President Mamnoon Hussain appreciates Saudi interest in CPEC

Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain has vowed that the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are strengthening with each passing day, as both the countries are bonded together historically on religious and cultural lines since the inception of Islam.

The President said this while talking to Saudi Ambassador Commodore Nawaf Saeed Ahmad Almalki, who called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday. While welcoming the interest being taken by Saudi Arabia in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he underlined that this project would have positive and far-reaching impact.

Ambassador Al-malki expressed confidence in Pakistan’s flagship project China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and highlighted the Saudi- Pakistan brotherly relations.
Expressing grave concern over the deteriorating situation in Burma, the Ambassador emphasized that the Muslim Ummah should work in unison to address this issues.
